I really think aid access is an awesome benefit for woman to take control of their own health/body. I have 3 children and our family is complete. My husband had a vasectomy and we still ended up accidentally pregnant. We both knew we could not have another child. I am glad the pills are an option be surgical. Private at Home with abortion pills
I thought this was a great experience given the circumstances. I work 12 hour shifts and have 2 small children. I could not go to a clinic with my schedule and the clinics are far from me which makes it even more tedious. So this was seriously a great option. The only negative thing was it was hard for me to take the sublingual tablets. I actually vomited while taking them because of the texture and taste but other than that and the side effects of the medication, I would most definitely recommend this to anyone who needed it.

I felt very helped. Very supported. I was very happy that it was affordable. I feel like I made the right choice for myself and where I am in life right now. The cramps were a little more painful than a normal menstrual period but the bloating is what really bothered me. It was terrible. It stopped after 3 days. I have been bleeding lightly for more than a week. Sometimes theres intermittent cramping but nothing too bothersome. It was nice to do the procedure in the comfort of my own home

Do not read too much into reviews. I worried myself sick for weeks but i honestly have to say it was quite painless. Take ibuprofen and an antiemetic about an hour before and you will be totally fine. I didnt have all those symptoms. The cramps were totally manageable. And i had a really nice heating pad with massage that I purchased from walgreens that totally helped with the cramps. The get a little intense but nothing too painful. I bled for a little over a week. Im on my second week after the pills and the bleeding has subsided. With the first pill mifepristone i had absolutely no symptoms but i did take an antiemetic beforehand just in case of nausea. This was pretty painless and easy and i feel relieved.
This service was a blessing to me. Being single and pregnant and living on a couch at 19 is hard enough, worrying about abortion access certainly doesnt help. this was substantially cheaper and i was able to spend the entire time with people i loved and cared for without being treated like a number or another abortion.
You guys saved my peace of mind, having this affordable option given to me to prevent a huge mistake in my current life was absolutely vital.

Thank you for your help. The side effects didn”t last long. I”m fairly used to heavy cramping during my monthly but I can understand others having less tolerance for the intensity. I took 600mg of naproxen sodium 30 min before my first dose. I began to bleed only about an hour after that. After my second dose I passed the pregnancy and clots. It happened quickly. The cramping was dull and sporadic for the next couple days. Taking a pain reliever is very helpful. The heavy bleeding was only for the first day and afterward only light bleeding and then spotting for almost 2 weeks. I”m grateful that I had this option as I am almost 40 with two older children. Aid access worked fast and responded quickly. Thank you again

I really appreciate what you do. This is an important service for so many women, in the US and other countries. It really made a difference for me to be able to do the abortion from the privacy of my own home and at a cost that was reasonable and didn”t feel monetarily debilitating.

It should be a safe available option for every woman everywhere in the comforts of their own home. I didn’t have to go to a chop shop and pay high dollars walking away with fear. I think this was a literal lifesaver in my case. I am not in the place to have a child nor was I financially able to drive hours north to visit a clinic. Without this I’m not sure what I would’ve done. I’ve always advocated for woman’s reproductive health & rights and will continue to do so by referring any woman who needs this help to aid access.
I am so glad I found aid access and that they were able to help me. I know that going through planned parenthood would have taken much longer with the visits counseling and ultrasounds, by the time they would have made it to getting my abortion it would have been too late for the pills and I really did not want to do it surgically or wait for the fetus to be larger. Also planned parenthood is over an hour drive away from here and I would have to take days off of work which is hard to do too, and find a ride and spend more on gas and appointments. This is very affordable and fast and I am very satisfied with my experience

Not always easy to use abortion pills
I experienced severe complications and was in the ER twice in 5 days. The service is absolutely amazing but the experience is not an easy one to go through. Make sure you’re not alone when you take the pills and be prepared for a miserable 12 hours.
Everything with you guys was great I just would’ve liked to be a little more prepared on the amount of pain I was going to go through.
I am very appreciative of Aid Access and the ability to obtain medical abortion medications via the mail. The only thing that would have made my experience better is some prescription pain pills, but I understand that such medications are very difficult to obtain and require a prescription
I had to take second set of pills, so I was glad that they had sent it to me. At first I thought they weren’t necessary but I’m pretty sure my first round was incomplete. After second round I am almost positive it was a success. Much more bleeding and tissue. I would advice others to use an anti diarrhea medicine to help
